The self-weighing mechanism intuitively responds to the torque requirements of a wide range of users without the need for manual tension adjustment. This means it allows the user’s weight to adjust to a comfortable sitting position and recline tension. The seat pivot is located near the user’s hips, helping the user maintain full contact with the chair’s seat and back though the full range of recline.
